HONOR WALL ENROLLMENT 2010:The Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial is accepting registrations now for the names of veterans (living or deceased) to be enrolled on the Honor Wall. Deadline for 2010, is August 15th. The names will be unveiled and read aloud at the annual Veterans Day ceremony on November 11, 2010. Enrollment Form

LYNN STUART PATHWAY: A one-of-a-kind military history walking path, 1/2 mile in length, was recently completed at Veterans Park. Twenty-two interpretive panels are on display telling the history of each of the U.S. wars from 1776 to 2010, including the War for Texas Independence. Granite markers and benches add to the unique settings for each site.

The service flags are replaced before they begin to wear appreciably. It costs about $1400 for the replacement flags. To offset the cost we are offering the used flags for sale to anyone interested. For $200, plus shipping if you live out of town, you will get a service flag of your choice plus a certificate with the dates that the flag was flown.
